About the job

The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new business opportunities through outbound sales activities. This includes generating leads, qualifying prospects, and selling Teleperformance’s  solutions to businesses of various sizes and industries. The role involves direct interaction with decision-makers and requires strong communication and sales skills, as well as the ability to understand and explain how Teleperformance’s services can help meet the specific needs of each prospect. 

Annual Base Salary starting at CAD $51,000 with OTE potential to top base bap with minimum 5% up to 20% in bonuses.

Schedule

  • Fixed schedule Monday to Friday, 9 hrs shift from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Location

  • Candidates are advised to be within travel distance from our primary location Yonge & Eglinton.
  • Hybrid setup, on the job training will be on site for 3 months.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college qualification is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the consulting industry, consultative selling skills, including managing a customer portfolio, identifying customer needs, and focusing on customer satisfaction.
  • Experience in Technology or Consultancy Sales is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cold calling and presenting sales pitches that focus on the value of the offering rather than just the price.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate the value proposition clearly to potential clients.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, such as Salesforce and LinkedIn Navigator, to manage leads and sales opportunities.
  • Proactive, self-motivated with an analytical mindset and a go-getter attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
  • Proven success in generating leads and consistently exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Engage in outbound phone calls and emails to connect with business decision-makers, build rapport, assess needs to generate new business opportunities.
  • Hunt, Acquire, Upsell and cross-sell Teleperformance services and solutions to new and existing clients, increasing revenue and expanding service offerings.
  • Explain Teleperformance services/solutions and value proposition to businesses of different verticals and sizes and explain how they address client needs.
  • Lead and contribute to team projects to develop and refine our sales process. 
  • Develop and codify best practices and sales workflows for interactions with prospects. 
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas, demonstrating a strong sales attitude and commitment to target achievement.
