Back Office Processing – Logistics Specialist

Location – Office Based Measham

Hours – 37.5 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, 8am-4pm

 

The Role

We are currently seeking Logistics Specialists to join our on-site Logistics teams based in Measham, East Midlands.

 

You will be responsible for providing the best customer service possible in dealing with TP employees (active and former), liaising to arrange recovery of TP equipment as well as supporting other Logistics operations.

 

This work will involve telephony contacts, organising bookings, data entry as well as manual handling activities when required.

 

Experience

  • Proven experience in similar operational roles delivering a service to customers/client in a high-volume environment.
  • Experience of priority setting to deliver to SLA targets.
  • Experience of using technology data systems.
  • An understanding of warehousing and logistics processes is preferred.

 

 

Current formal warnings & attendance record will be taken into consideration during the recruitment process including the short-listing stage.

 

Skills/Personal attributes

  • Excellent organisational, communication and writing skills.
  • Computer literacy is essential including MS Office, Microsoft Teams and other office based software.
  • Must be confident to make difficult decisions based on a number of criteria.
  • Organised and methodical, with an eye for detail.
  • Be flexible and have an adaptive approach to your work.
  • Can demonstrate a consistent and friendly approach, positive attitude and positive language.
  • Experienced in managing back-office teams.
  • Working knowledge of Logistics & Warehousing methodologies.
  • Engaging with a polite and professional telephone manner.
