The Trainer (Mandarin) is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs for employees, particularly those handling Mandarin-speaking customers or content. Based in Johor, this role ensures that staff are well-equipped with product knowledge, operational procedures, and communication skills to deliver high-quality service. The Trainer plays a key role in enhancing employee performance, onboarding new hires, and supporting continuous learning initiatives.
Education: Diploma/Degree in Education, Communications, Linguistics, Business, or related field.
Experience:
2–4 years of experience as a trainer, preferably in BPO/contact center or service environment.
Experience delivering training in Mandarin for customer service or operational teams.
Language Proficiency:
Fluent in Mandarin and English (spoken and written).
Cantonese is an advantage.
Skills:
Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage, motivate, and coach participants effectively.
Good analytical and organizational skills.
Proficiency in training tools, Microsoft Office, and online learning platforms.
Training Delivery
Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing employees in Mandarin.
Deliver workshops, classroom sessions, and on-the-job coaching.
Ensure training materials are understood and applied effectively.
Curriculum & Material Development
Develop and update training materials, manuals, and guides in Mandarin.
Customize content based on team needs, business updates, and client requirements.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct assessments to evaluate trainee understanding and performance.
Monitor progress and provide feedback for improvement.
Identify training gaps and propose solutions.
Collaboration & Support
Work closely with team leaders, QA, and operations to align training with business needs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives through training insights and recommendations.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain records of training attendance, performance, and evaluation results.
Prepare reports on training effectiveness and outcomes.
