Overview

The Change Manager ensures smooth adoption of organizational changes by focusing on people, processes, and impacts on technology. This role leads to communication and engagement plans, assesses readiness, and manages resistance to minimize disruption. By embedding change strategies into project delivery, the Change Manager supports successful transitions and sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR).
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow).
  • Knowledge of risk management frameworks and compliance standards.
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and produce actionable insights for decision-making.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Project Management, or related field (master’s advantageous).
  • Certification in Change Management (e.g., Prosci, APMG) and Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • 5+ years of experience in change management within global organizations.
  • Proven track record of managing complex change initiatives across multiple regions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and governance frameworks.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication planning.

Responsibilities

Strategic Alignment and Governance

  • Ensure consistency and scalability of change initiatives across regions, aligning with global transformation programs.
  • Act as the first line of defense for risk and governance, implementing controls to meet regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain a global change management framework to standardize processes and governance.

 

Operational Efficiency and Risk Mitigation

  • Identify and manage risks within global operations and partner ecosystems, ensuring timely escalation and mitigation.
  • Lead change impact assessments to evaluate operational, service quality, and resource risks before implementation.

 

Structured Change Control

  • Drive formal Change Control processes for managing scope changes post-project initiation.
  • Oversee approval workflows, impact evaluations, and implementation schedules to maintain transparency and accountability.

 

Enhanced Client Engagement

  • Serve as a strategic advisor, facilitating governance forums and transformation updates to strengthen client trust.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and communication plans to drive adoption and readiness for organizational changes.

 

Dedicated Focus for Global Complexity

  • Coordinate regional and global change activities, aligning local requirements with global transformation roadmaps.
  • Track and report success metrics (adoption, readiness, business impact) to measure effectiveness and refine strategies.
